This series comprises minutes of meetings of the board of managers of the Norwegian Lutheran Deaconesses' Home and Hospital. The minutes were generated and retained by the board in the course of their duties to manage the institution. The minutes date from 1898-1907. Minutes are handwritten in Norwegian in bound notebooks. Meetings included reports by the chaplain and the hospital superintendent, a financial report, and discussion of topics pertaining to the oversight of the hospital and the deaconesses. The minutes for each session were signed by several people; it is likely that this included the board members present. Minute books contain papers such as reports and correspondence which were placed between pages. The condition of the minute books is good.
